Foth Environment Solutions is seeking a team-focused, innovative, and results-oriented Civil Engineer who is looking to be a significant contributor in discipline development and the design of diverse civil engineering projects across multiple discipline. This position is based out of our Peoria, Illinois location.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Technical engineering project designs, site investigations, and inspections focused on storm water management, watershed planning, sanitary sewer collection, green infrastructure, and best management practices
• Develop technical stormwater and sanitary sewer reports for infrastructure improvement projects
• Conduct hydraulic analysis, drainage channel design, erosion and sediment control, and gravity sewer modeling
• Prepare design plans, specifications, permitting and bid documents for storm water, drainage, and water quality construction projects
• Design and construction support services, including shop drawings, pay estimates, progress meetings and construction services for various projects. 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
• 2 to 4 years of experience in design or construction services for general civil infrastructure, such as: stormwater, sanitary sewer, utilities, pavement, and municipal infrastructure improvements

• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification
• Professional Engineer (PE) License
• 4 to 8 years of experience in civil engineering, stormwater, sanitary sewer, water resources, and site design projects as a civil engineer or technical producer in the engineering consulting industry
• Exposure and experience with sanitary and stormwater modeling software, such as: (e.g., HEC-RAS, SewerGEMS, HydroCAD, XPSWMM, HEC-HMS, ArcGis)
• Exposure and experience with CADD software, such as: Bentley MicroStation OpenRoads and/or AutoCAD Civil3D
• Construction inspection or management experience on civil engineering projects
• Project Management experience.
• Familiarity with Illinois DOT specifications and procurement practices.
• Familiarity with solid waste services; ie. Landfill, recycling facilities, transfer station designs, permitting and monitoring.
