Foth is currently undergoing exciting growth in our Des Moines, IA office. We are seeking a team-focused, innovative, and results-oriented Civil Engineer eager to be a significant contributor to our Transportation Services.

Growth, safety, and aging infrastructure - these are all challenges faced by nearly every community today. As a member of the Foth's Infrastructure Solutions engineering team, you will help clients meet these challenges while minimizing impacts to the community and the environment. From airports to utilities, roads, and bridges, you will be a part of providing effective solutions that are cost-conscious and practical.

Primary Responsibilities:

* Provide engineering support for roadway/transportation projects

* Assist in the planning, design, and construction administration of transportation projects

* Complete feasibility studies and technical design reports

* Coordinate roadway design project plans with associated utilities

* Demonstrate eagerness to learn new areas of engineering

Required Qualifications

* Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field

* Familiarity with or previous experience in using MicroStation/OpenRoads Designer and/or AutoCAD/Civil3D software for design and drafting tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

* Engineer in Training (EIT) certification

* Completion of an engineering internship or other professional employment providing experience in surveying, transportation design, MicroStation/OpenRoads Designer, and/or construction observation
