Fossil is Hiring a Senior Tax Accountant Near Richardson, TX
Specific responsibilities include the following:
- Prepare state and local income tax returns and franchise tax returns, annual reports, estimated payments and extensions in a timely and accurate manner.
- Assist with the preparation of federal partnership and corporate income tax returns.
- Prepare tax work papers, schedules, exhibits and research summaries necessary to develop and support findings and/or recommendations.
- Prepare the Company’s ASC 740 tax provision and related footnote disclosures. Interface with company’s external auditors.
- Maintain financial statement tax accounts, including proper record-keeping and maintenance of tax accounting records for each Americas entity.
- Assist with federal tax audits and state income/franchise audits.
- Respond to IDRs, notices, inquiries, and general correspondence with taxing authorities.
- Perform tax research and provide conclusions thereon.
- Identify tax savings opportunities and strategies.
- Provide technical advice on multi-state tax issues
- File property tax renditions for non-store properties, including annual report for foreign trade zone.
- Prepare Form 940 PF return for Fossil Foundation.
