Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and professionally, creating a welcoming atmosphere in the cashier area.
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently for used auto parts sales.
• Accept cash, credit, and debit card payments from customers and issue receipts accordingly.
• Maintain a high level of product knowledge to assist customers with inquiries about prices, availability, and compatibility of used auto parts.
• Collaborate with the inventory team to ensure the seamless flow of information and efficient customer service.
• Assist in handling customers returns and exchanges, ensuring adherence to the company policies and procedures.
• Keep the cashier area clean, organized, and well-stocked with supplies
• Uphold a professional and friendly demeanor when dealing with customers concerns or complaints, resolving issues to their satisfaction
• Contribute to a positive team environment by supporting colleagues and collaboration on various tasks when needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven experience in a cashier or retail sales environment is a plus.
• Knowledge of automotive parts and components is advantageous but not mandatory; a willingness to learn is essential
• Good mathematical skills for accurate cash handling and transactions
• Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills to provide top-notch customer service
• Basic computer skills for processing transactions and using point-of-sale systems
• Must be reliable and punctual, adhering to assigned work schedules

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
