A BCBA Supervisor consults, conducts behavioral evaluations of clients and designs behavior and individual support plans for clients. The BCBA Supervisor is required to adhere to the Behavior Analyst Certification Board Guidelines for Responsible Conduct for Behavior Analysts.

Requirements/Responsibilities:

  • Applies behavioral principles consistently in all client interactions.
  • Supports all members of the staff and assists with ideas, suggestions and work duties.
  • Conducts center based and in-home supervision bi-weekly or monthly.
  • Conduct and actively participate in staff training programs designed to increase overall skills.
  • Develops program plans and other instructional activities as well as running programs weekly to insure mastery and gather inter-rater reliability data.
  • Maintains a minimum billable caseload of 120 hours per month.
  • Writes progress reports, and other requested written assignments related to the clients progress.
  • Manage oversight caseload including reviewing and ensuring progress reports are submitted to insurance providers on time correctly to ensure no gaps in client authorizations.
  • Communicates in a professional and respectful manner with parents, behavior analyst/consultants, therapists, clients and families.
  • Hold parents accountable to parent handbook, utilization policies, parent training, and client scheduling policies.
  • Fluent in the understanding of the Verbal Behavior Milestones Assessment and Placement Program (VB-MAPP) and the Vineland 3.
  • Assists in creating instructional materials, running programs, taking data and assessing clients in the development of new programs relating to the clients functional and education needs.
  • Observes records, and reports the condition and behavior of the clients, including maintaining daily records.
  • Functions as an active member of the treatment team meetings and supervision.
  • Works with clients, consultants, staff, families, and community to implement client's treatment plans.
  • Consistently trains and implements behavior plans to reduce client's socially inappropriate behavior and promote appropriate social behaviors.
  • Effectively responds to and manages crisis situations which may include client physical aggression.
  • Support the ongoing training and development of Safety Care training of all clinical staff.
  • Completes daily BCBA session note signatures within 24 hours and ensures paperwork and data collection notes are completed in a detailed, accurate, consistent and timely manner.
  • Follows and enforces all policies and procedures, and assists with disciplinary action for all staff under oversight.
  • Works well with others and shows ability to take direction, delegate, communicate, and develop the team by fostering a positive work environment.

Requirements

Master's degree in ABA, Psychology, Education or other related field

Board Certified Behavior Analyst Certification

4 years experience in field of ABA

Willing to work in Hanford center and in home region
