FORVIS is Hiring a Senior Accountant Near Springfield, MO
We are looking for a Senior Accountant who will assist with performing accounting procedures, compliance with regulations, and preparing financial reports. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and experience with financial analysis and forecasting. This is a remote position.
Responsibilities- Assist in the preparation of accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements
- Analyze financial data and create reports for management
- Assist in account reconciliation and expense analysis
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license required
- 3 years relevant professional experience required working in corporate accounting or similar setting
