Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Selecting and sizing of pumps, gearboxes, motors, instrumentation, and flow control equipment per customer’s application requirements
  • Have technical and commercial discussions often via email, Microsoft Teams, by phone, and face to face with Customers
  • Efficiently and accurately respond to requests for price quotations
  • Review purchase orders for accuracy, prior to PO Acknowledgement, and enter order information into Oracle
  • Utilize Salesforce CRM to manage your sales pipeline
  • Implement strategic and tactical sales plans in support of Team goals
  • Engage with the RQ Operations Team to assist in cost estimates for skid packages
  • Engage with the RQ Operations Team in hand-off of Scope related to PO during Internal and, sometimes, External Kick Off Meetings
  • Assist the ISS Mgr with Process Improvement that improve Quote turnaround, accuracy and margin performance
  • Follow safe work procedures and Company safety policies and procedures, which includes but is not limited to:
    • Obeying warning signs and postings.
    • Immediately reporting any injury, accident, or near-miss incidents.
    • Reporting unsafe hazards and unsafe conditions.
    • Completing safety training by the due date.
    • Using personal protective equipment as required by the employer.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Knowledge:

  • Mechanical Engineering degree preferred or combination of experience in selecting positive displacement and centrifugal pumps using pump software and industry practices.
  • Good working knowledge of pumps, compression and vacuum equipment, heat exchangers, mixers and related rotating and process equipment and accessories.

Experience/Skills:

  • Experience in an industrial sales environment to include direct customer/client interface. Experience quoting solution/skid packages preferred.
  • Experience with MS Office including MS Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook.
