As the Endpoint Engineer you will design, build, and implement endpoint configurations including Windows, Android, and iOS with user applications across both Windows and Mac endpoint environments. In addition, you will work closely with Service Desk Analysts to provide tier-three technical support and serve as an escalation point for endpoint issues. Finally, as the Endpoint Engineer, you are responsible for ensuring that all endpoint Operating Systems and applications are current, reliable, tuned and accessible in accordance with service level agreements.

Qualified candidates will have previous experience in the following:

• Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot or Microsoft SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager).
• Building and deploying software packages.
• OS patching.
• Experience using Kandji is preferred, but not required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform implementation, administration, configuration, troubleshooting and maintenance within Windows OS, Mac OS and MDM environments; Kandji and Intune.
• Perform windows desktop OS image creations, customization of features and deployment across the enterprise.
• Create software packages via various methods including packaging and automated unattended deployments.
• Leverage automation to supplant tedious administration tasks. On Windows, this includes PowerShell, Ninja, and GPOs.
• Meet endpoint support and service delivery objectives through design, development and delivery of custom solutions related to automation, monitoring, and application performance optimization.
• Oversee deployment of patches for operation systems both Windows and Mac as well as desktop applications.
• Ensure all Client requests and operational problems are updated and resolved within a timely manner using the ticketing system.
• Evaluate new products & services and provide effective solutions to meet end-user needs.
• Ensure physical environment is compliant within required security standards.
• Adhere to department and IT protocols, procedures, and service level agreements.
• Perform other duties as required and assigned.

Qualifications

Requirements:

Education and Experience:

• High School and associate degree required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience managing and supporting Windows desktop OS and endpoint administration at scale across and enterprise sized environment.
• At least one of the following certifications MTA, MCSA, A , Network , Server or equivalent training/experience.

Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Strong understanding of the Windows Desktop OS architecture, packaging, scripting, and automated deployment tools (Intune, Auto Pilot, PowerShell, Kandji), MS Office Suite, Active Directory, GPO. iOS and Android MDM experience a plus.
• Experience with Windows Desktop OS, deployment in an enterprise environment, system image creation, asset management, patched and app updates.
• Experience working with application deployment and packaging tools.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to effectively contribute to a team environment.
• Organized, detail-oriented, with ability to multi-task and prioritize competing requests to ensure deadlines are met.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Passionate about delivering exceptional client experience and tier three support.
• Strong diagnostic and root cause analysis skills.
• Able to communicate with staff that is both technical and non-technical.

Training Requirements:

• Desire to continuously learn and apply learning to job and company success.
• Willing to attend required training courses or sessions related to the job.

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to lift up to forty (40) pounds without assistance.
• Must be able to perform routine, repetitive office functions.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test and be subject to random drug screening.

Work Environment:

• Regular exposure to dust and noise in the production environment.
• Warehouse environment temperatures may be influenced by outside temperatures.

Personal Protective Equipment:

• Safety shoes and eye protection are highly recommended in the production area.

Travel:

• This position will require occasional travel, up to 20% annually.
