The successful candidate will have an outstanding track record of success in wireline experience in operating heavy equipment while ensuring communication skills are effective and complying with all safety polices to ensure the team is always working in safe conditions.

OCCUPATION: Wireline Operator

The Wireline Operator works on a wireline unit or crane and is responsible for servicing oil and gas wells. Their duties include driving the equipment, assisting in rigging-up and down, operating crane trucks, making up tools, handling explosives, and any other duties assigned. All duties are to be performed according to operating procedures to maximize safety and to efficiently perform the task.

Essential Functions of Job:

• Load out supplies and necessary equipment for upcoming jobs.
• Drive equipment to and from location. 
• Assist in rigging up/down equipment.
• Carry out assembly/teardown operations on hardware used to perform the wireline job including setting tools, perforating guns, tools, etc.
• Handle explosives in a safe manner as instructed by the safety training.
• Clean all equipment after the completion of a job and report any mechanical issues.
• All other duties as assigned.
