Job Description

We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic faculty member to teach in our Medical Assisting program. This is a part-time, professional position reporting directly to the Program Director. The primary responsibility will be to teach medical assisting evening courses. The typical teaching load is 1-2 courses each term, 2-4 evenings per week , Monday thru Thursday. Applicants will also be expected to provide academic advising to students, assist the program director and participate in department training, meetings and graduation.

Requirements

• Certification in Medical Assisting (CMA, RMA, CCMA)
• At least FOUR years of experience working as a Medical Assistant
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly organized, motivated and results driven
• Prior teaching experience preferred but not required
• College degree preferred but not required
