Summary: As a gas station Facilities Coordinator, you will be responsible for hands – on maintenance and coordination of both the exterior and interior areas of the gas station premises. In addition to performing maintenance tasks, you will oversee the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of the facility, ensuring a positive experience for customers and staff alike.
Essential Functions:
· Conduct regular inspections of the exterior premises, including fuel pumps, parking lot, landscaping, and signage.
· Ensure that fuel pumps, dispensers, and other outdoor equipment are in proper working conditions and make necessary repairs to ensure they are.
· Address any safety hazards such as spills, cracks in pavement or malfunctioning lighting.
· Monitor inventory and order supplies for cleaning and maintenance purposes.
· Oversee maintenance of HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, appliances, coolers inside, point of sale systems in the store.
· Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all interior areas.
· Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all equipment and systems
· Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies to minimize downtime.
· Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and address them proactively.
· Manage relationships with vendors and contractors for repairs and installations that can’t be completed in house.
· Work closely with team members to prioritize tasks and ensure timely completion of projects.
· Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and accountability.

· Effective communication skills for interacting with team members, vendors, and customers.
· Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
Education
Experience:
· Experienced in written and verbal business communications.
· Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedures manuals; must have the ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Communicate diplomatically and tactfully with customers, visitors, and staff to maintain harmonious relations between staff.
· Experience in solving practical problems and dealing with a variety of variables in situations where public/customer relations and organizational skills are involved; ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form and the ability to make independent and valid decisions on purchasing, staffing, inventory and stocking, advertising and promotions and good relations with the tribe and requiring this of all employees.
· Experienced computer user including, Microsoft Office & Excel.
Certificates and Licenses:
· Must have valid Driver’s License and be insurable under the Fort Mojave Indian Tribe insurance plan.
· Must successfully complete Pump repair certification, Passport repair certification, and Veeder – Root certification.
Physical Demands:
· Regularly required to stand for long periods of time, walk, climb, balance, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. May be required to lift or move objects up to 50 pounds. Specific vision requirements for this job include distance vision, depth perception, peripheral vision, color vision and ability to focus.
· Regularly exposed to desert temperatures, wet and/or humid conditions, outside weather conditions and various temperatures, moving mechanical parts, high or precarious places, toxic or caustic chemicals, vibration and sharp objects. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
