Job Responsibilities:
- Hire, supervise, and manage the performance of maintenance team members and ensure that all associates follow established safety regulations in the use of equipment and supplies
- Negotiate contracts with outside vendors for execution of maintenance work
- Conducts regular inspections of all Life Safety Systems including fire extinguishers, sprinkler and alarm systems
- Maintains inventory control for all general supplies, parts and equipment.
- Develop performance standards and processes for the maintenance function
- Manage the department within budgetary guidelines tracking inventory usage and ordering supplies when necessary
- Understands and implements the role of the department's safety and disaster plan
