TITLE: Planner

I. POSITION OBJECTIVE
The Planner for Schedule Control will assist in planning and scheduling related activities and execution of major expansion for both green field and B1 brownfield projects. The role is to ensure the proper documents are prepared and collected within EC digital software Smart Completions (SC), and PSSR documentation is prepared for eventual transfer to the clients. Ensure the documents are completed and collected per the construction schedule. The planner will coordinate with each EC department and occasionally with client PIC ensuring projects are on schedule and within the budget. Prepare and submit monthly documentation support monthly reports for executive management.
II. MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY
EC Project Progress - Update and report weekly for expansion projects progress within the Hexagon Smart Completion (SC) software. Eventually leading to all EC approved B1 improvement projects. Coordinate with each department manager and project PIC’s to ensure construction data is properly entered in SC and in a timely manner. Successful entry on a daily basis will result in a smoother transition of documents to the Smart Dbase Exchange (SDx) software, and in turn to Operations and Maintenance. This includes communicating with Operations and Maintenance on how to access the construction documents as the construction progresses within SDx and if necessary SC.
Special Project Reports - Prepare monthly budget reports, to include EC’s Efficiency report, Revenue Report, Cash Flow, and EC’s B1 monthly summary. The reports will be for both EC Texas and EC Baton Rouge facilities. This will require collecting the necessary support documents from the various systems, e.g. AS400, EC Tracking Dbase, Smart Completions, SDx, etc...
Cost Control - Control and maintain departmental and divisional costs as measured by monthly management reports. Analyze budget trends, develop and recommend budget requirements. Assist in preparing annual budgets for the department and the EC Division as a whole.
THM – Promote cleanliness and order through the implementation of the Total Housekeeping Maintenance program. Emphasize Nothing Touch Ground program and No Visual Pollution program.
Continuously Improvement -- Collect and analyze background and relevant references information for project execution and progress reporting. Perform study and audit to current EC Schedule and cost control mechanism to seek continuously improvement on current tracking system include progress reports, payment system, and etc...
III. QUALIFICATIONS

• One (1) to five (5) years of experience in a direct job related field, which includes at least three (3) years within a maintenance or operations department of a petrochemical plant or refinery
• High school diploma or equivalent plus a minimum of five (5) years of direct job-related experience required or Associate’s degree with three (3) years of direct job-related experience preferred or Bachelor’s degree with one (1) year of direct job-related experience preferred.
