Formers International is Hiring a Logistic Coordinator (FT) Near Pasadena, TX
- Daily review of the shipping list with high attention to detail to prioritize shipping orders.
- Understand production process and location of parts to prioritize the on-time shipment.
- Communicate with the correct personnel to identify the status of the parts to be shipped.
- Use appropriate packing methods to ensure parts are secured for shipment with non to minimal damages to parts.
- Coordinating domestic and international shipment.
- Preparing product for shipment, which includes but is not limited to boxing, crating, and securing packaging by applying protective packaging.
- Operate forklift truck/ Loading and unloading freight trucks. Must be able to pass forklift safety training program.
- Maintain a neat and orderly work area complying with all safety protocols.
- Maintaining organize and high attention to detail is extremely important.
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills, adept computer skills, and be able to work with minimum supervision.
- Experience with QuickBooks is a plus.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Being able to to communicate effectively and excel good communication skills.
- Requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Understanding shipping terminology
- Minimum of 2-3 years as shipping experience, including arranging freight with logistics providers and freight forwarders.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Valid Texas driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Pass Drug and Alcohol screening.
- Pass a Background screening.
