Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pilates Instructor to join our growing team. As a Pilates Instructor, you will be responsible for leading personalized private and duet sessions using the Pilates reformer and tower. The right candidate is driven with a strong work ethic, has a genuine passion for movement, and is inspired by helping people feel their best.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Program and teach private and duet Pilates reformer sessions
• Provide personalized instruction and modifications to meet individual client needs
• Commitment to a consistent teaching schedule summer 2024
• Build strong relationship with your clients, with the ability to motivate and inspire
• Be a team player – work with your peers and assist with subbing when needed, understanding your peers will also support you with subbing when needed
• Communicate clearly and honestly, fostering trust with the team and your clients
• Maintain a clean and organized studio environment
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in Pilates industry

Requirements:

• 450 Hour Pilates Reformer or Comprehensive Certification required
• Experience teaching Pilates private/duet sessions (apprentice hours accepted)
• Teach in-person on Nantucket June/July through August/September (flexibility in start/end date)
• Overall positive, kind and caring demeanor
• Passionate about Pilates and helping people get stronger, build confidence and ease pain through movement
• Adaptability: having the flexibility to adjust to your client’s needs each session, as well as the needs of the studio
• Problem Solving: ability to pivot when faced with an obstacle
• Ability to design comprehensive exercise programs tailored to individual needs
• In-depth understanding of anatomy and body mechanics
• Passion for health, wellness, and helping others achieve their fitness goals
