Overview:

The mission of FORM Hand, Wrist & Elbow is to be the preferred provider of orthopedic care amongst our community, case managers, and primary care physicians. We believe in earning the trust of our patients, not only by providing the highest quality and leading-edge medical care but also by treating each patient and their family with sincere compassion. The ultimate goal of our entire organization is to aid and support each patient as they navigate the healthcare process, which can be very stressful.

We are currently hiring a Practice Administrator who is able to perform a variety of administrative and light clinical duties. The Practice Manager is responsible for managing day-to-day practice operations, and supervising clinical and support staff (i.e., Medical Assistants, Patient Services Representatives, etc.). He/she will collaborate and work in partnership with the provider to ensure efficient practice operations and the delivery of an exceptional patient experience.

This role will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our office - patient visits, surgical procedures and physical therapy services.

The Practice Manager is also responsible for developing and being accountable for achieving action plans to accomplish goals in areas managed (i.e., budget management, patient satisfaction, employee and physician/provider engagement), and initiating and executing performance improvement action plans.

We are seeking an individual with demonstrated accountability, diligence, and accuracy with a friendly professional demeanor. The Practice Administrator will ensure a smooth running of our company’s offices and contributes in driving sustainable growth.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversees and Responsible for the day to day operations of FORM – Hand, Wrist and Elbow Institute.
  • Oversee financial aspects including budgeting, billing, and revenue cycle management
  • Supervise, mentor and direct staff to ensure outstanding patient experience, workflows, standard work, quality and compliance, and staff and provider engagement are achieved.
  • Implement and maintain practice policies and procedures
  • Participates in performance improvement activities.
  • Adheres to HR, safety, HIPAA and compliance policies, and attendance requirements.
  • Provides orientation and training to new staff as assigned.
  • Performs work in accordance with established schedules, policies and procedures.
  • Promotes a work environment conducive to harmonious work relationships and high staff morale.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Clinic/Patient Responsibilities:

  • Contributes to the overall patient experience and satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with medical staff to ensure efficient patient care delivery.
  • Ensures all patient contacts are timely documented and treatment plans implemented with evidence-based practice.
  • Responds to requests from medical staff, families, clients, adjusters, nurse case managers and other concerned patients regarding patient care issues.
  • Reviews and uses clinical and medical records to determine health care patterns and assignment of appropriate resources. Ensures corrective actions.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Strong background in practice management and medical management
  • Experience working in a clinical setting
  • Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, PowerPoint, internet-based research.
  • Ability to accurately type a minimum of 40 WPM.
  • Strong verbal and written communications, and active listening skills
  • Solid patient/guest relations skills with the ability to communicate in a professional, courteous and efficient manner.
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively organize and prioritize task in order to complete assignments in a timely manner
  • Ability to work effectively as a team member who is flexible, cooperative and willing to assist others.
