Staff Counselor
We are looking for a full time position for a staff counselor, this job requires traveling to multiple locations: Murfreesboro , Dickson and/ or Gallatin. We are looking to find help to fill a position about 4-5 days per week.

0-3 years of experience

Bachelor's Degree in a behavioral science field OR Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) OR a Licensed Alcohol AND Drug Abuse Counselor (LADAC) OR other licensed mental health care professional who meets the qualification of an alcohol AND drug abuse counselor. Must be licensed or actively working towards getting licensed.

• Complete assessment of each client
• Initiate and sustain patient motivation to participate in treatment
• Develop a comprehensive treatment plan for each client that includes the results of assessments, and short- and long-term treatment goals and objectives of the client
• Make appropriate referrals for other resources or services as needed,
• Provide counseling services utilizing appropriate treatment modalities including CBT, DBT, and Trauma-Informed Care.
• Possess an understanding of addictive behaviors and thinking
• Ability to establish trust and build rapport with patient population
• Knowledge of various models of treatment, recovery, relapse prevention, and continuing care for single and dual diagnosed substance use disorders
• Familiarity with Medically Assisted Treatment programs and protocols
• Working knowledge of HIPAA and privacy laws compliance

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $175.00 - $200.00 per day
