POSITION TITLE: PORTER

OBJECTIVE: Receives work assignments/direction from Customer Service personnel/Management and Porter Log. Responsible for general appearance of the concourse, restrooms, bowler’s area, and front desk. Will also directly provide services to customers as needed.

DUTIES:

1. Follow cleaning guidelines (Daily, weekly, monthly, etc) per Porter Log:

a. Check all restrooms one time per hour, making sure they are clean, orderly, and adequately supplied with tissue, soap, and paper towels.

b. Clean and maintain bowler’s area.

c. Dust settees, score consoles, counters, and ball returns.

d. Check and maintain concourse area, empty and clean trash cans, and vacuum concourse nightly and as needed.

e. Remove balls from ball returns and return them to racks.

f. Dust tables, all horizontal surfaces, and arcade games.

g. Clean parking lot area.

h. Remove all trash from Center before leaving at night.

i. Wash all glass at entrances daily. Wash all other glass as needed.

j. Maintain janitorial equipment and storage areas.

k. Clean meeting room and meeting room restroom.

l. Check with Customer Service Representative/Manager for other specific daily assignments. Check with Customer Service Representative/Manager before leaving at end of shift.

2. Set up and break down birthday party packages as well as meeting events.

3. Assist customers directly with computer assistance, monitoring and distribution of light weight balls, and bumper use on a consistent basis per house policies and procedures.

4. Assist league bowlers as needed.

5. Must be open to some shift flexibility, including nights/weekends.

6. Other duties as assigned.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.50 per hour

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Shift availability:

• Day Shift (Preferred)
• Night Shift (Preferred)
• Overnight Shift (Preferred)
