Foresite Group, Inc. is Hiring a Transportation Planner Near Dallas, TX

Foresite Group has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Transportation Planner to join our Dallas, TX team! The ideal candidate will demonstrate proven results and accomplishments within the transportation planning space and will be seeking limitless opportunity with a diverse and growing firm.

Responsibilities:

  • Apply diverse knowledge of transportation planning principles across a wide spectrum of projects.
  • Define regional or local transportation planning issues, lead or participate in public meetings or hearings to explain planning studies/projects and gather feedback from affected parties to achieve consensus on project/plan recommendations.
  • Coordinate and perform plan reviews to ensure accuracy and quality of work.
  • Execute tasks within project requirements and deadlines.
  • Contribute to developing and maintaining project schedules, plan development, and production.

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and integrity
  • Ability to work well within a team environment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in urban planning, engineering, urban geography, or related field
  • At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in developing of multi-modal plans
  • Experience with Active Transportation Plans, Complete Streets Plans, Corridor Plans and Safety Plans
  • Desirable certifications: AICP or PTP
