Check out our website: https://forefronthealthcare.com/We are looking for a self-motivated Culinary Retail Café – Lead Food Service Worker for an upscale hospital in Baton Rouge, LA. This is a beautiful hospital. As the Culinary Retail Café – Lead Food Service Worker you will get to be involved with our guests who will be waiting to try our next dish!
The successful candidate will employ their hospitality, culinary & cash handling skills to play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing our customers’ satisfaction.
Having a positive attitude and strong sense of hospitality each day is a must! Overall, you will bring charisma to the culinary team here in our hospital.
Responsibilities

• Assist the culinary team and management staff.
• Operate the Retail Cafe Food area
• Help in the preparation of all food and drink menus
• Serve high-quality meals
• Ensure that the Cafe operates in a timely way that meets our quality standards
• Communicate supplies to stock inventory appropriately
• Comply with and enforce sanitation regulations and safety standards
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers, visitors and hospital employees

Skills:

• Proven experience as a Café/Retail or related field.
• Understanding of fresh ingredients, cash handling, hospitality, equipment, and procedures
• Accuracy and speed in handling the Café throughout the work day

Qualifications

Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS)
Cafe or Food Service experience: 3 years (Preferred)
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Hourly Rate $14 to $16.50 per hour
