We are seeking a diligent, detail-driven professional to provide vital expertise in support of our Driver Assist Technologies Embedded Software development activities. This involves applying engineering principles and analytical techniques in AUTOSAR platform software in support of ADAS development. The person in this role will be responsible for building our ADAS in-house basic software capability in BSW configuration, build, and testing.
In the Ford Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) program, Ford’s Safety Electronics team designs and develops hardware, functional models, and software that provide Best in Class behavior for features like Adaptive Cruise Control, Automatic Emergency Braking, Cross Traffic Alert, Active Park Assist and 360 Camera Systems. 

What you'll do...
Build a team of software engineers to configure, build, and test Classic AUTOSAR BSW for the ADAS system.
Ensure all development adheres to Ford internal processes.
Work with ADAS DevOps team to enable daily build, integration, and test for the classic AUTOSAR stack.
Responsible for configuration and build of the basic software initially focused on the COM stack for a multicore system using the ETAS tool chain.
Responsible for building ADAS in-house BSW capability
Responsible for unit and integration testing of generated BSW. 
Integration of AUTOSAR modules like MCAL, BSW, COM, LDCOM, etc., using ETAS tools of ISOLAR and RTA-RTE.
Build an agile team of developers working within SAFE framework.
Fulfill the role of Product Owner and support daily standups, sprint planning, and program increment planning.

You'll have... 
Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, Aerospace Engineering or related field
5 years of experience in embedded C development for automotive systems (ADAS is a plus).
3 years of experience in the configuration and building of classic AUTOSAR basic software modules.

Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, Aerospace Engineering or related field
7 years of experience in embedded C development for automotive systems (ADAS is a plus).
5 years of experience in the configuration and building of classic AUTOSAR basic software modules.
3 years of experience in integration testing 
Experience in AUTOSAR Architecture for Multi core, CAN-FD, SOMEIP Ethernet protocols 
Experience in vector tools like CANoe, CANalyzer, CANdela Studio, Davinci Configuration/Developer or EB configuration tools etc. 
Experience in ETAS tools like ISOLAR A/B, RTA-RTE, RTA-OS, RTE-Hooks
Good understanding of OSEK, IOC
Experience on unit testing using Trace 32 /JTrace or any Debug Trace tools
Knowledge of multicore microcontrollers
Fundamental knowledge of electric automotive architectures
Support for identifying the root causes for various embedded controller level issues like throughput, memory optimization, etc.
Experience leading a global team
Knowledge of Ford engineering processes
Strong knowledge and experience on RTE configurations and Integration
Solid background in integration testing
Experience in AUTOSAR Architecture for Multi core, CAN-FD, SOMEIP Ethernet protocols 
Experience in vector tools like CANoe, CANalyzer, CANdela Studio, Davinci Configuration/Developer or EB configuration tools etc. 
Experience in ETAS tools like ISOLAR A/B, RTA-RTE, RTA-OS, ASAP2 Tool chain
Experience with Git, JIRA, Jama or Polarion, Vector DBC tools
Expertise in Software debugging – Issue resolution, reporting, triage and status tracking
