Ford Component Sales, LLC (FCS) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Ford Motor Company aligned with the Ford Customer Service Division (FCSD). We are a flexible sales organization that directs resources toward revenue opportunities identified by FCSD.

We are in search of a Talent Management Specialist who will be responsible for the effective design, coordination, implementation, and auditing of talent management and development systems, processes, and workflows. This is not a recruiting role; it is a learning and development (L&D) role that will set our employees up for success through identifying employee development opportunities. This position will use a consultative approach to create innovative and personalized L&D solutions to meet the ongoing performance and growth needs of the company.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Thoroughly understands the business strategy, objectives, and culture to effectively partner with company leaders to translate them into talent management strategies and plans using expertise to identify, prioritize, and build organizational capabilities, behaviors, structures, and processes
  • Collaborates with business units to understand their unique talent needs and proactively assesses development needs, makes recommendations, and implements appropriate solutions
  • Designs, implements, and continuously improves talent processes, including performance management, talent reviews, succession planning, and leadership and individual development planning
  • Develops e-learning and in-person training, including writing content and developing interactive courses and supporting materials as needed
  • Supports in-person and virtual events through facilitating workshops, small group activities, or other programs where subject matter expertise aligns with program content as requested
  • Assists with managing learning management system (LMS), including supporting users, creating learning pathways, and maintaining content and reporting
  • Conducts audits of HR systems and department to ensure accuracy, integrity, functionality, and consistency
  • Identifies solutions that meet the needs of HR by recommending process improvements, system enhancements, and alternatives based on specific needs
  • Manages relationships with applicable vendors, including product updates, contract renewals, value analysis, and vendor review requirements
  • Establishes metrics to continually evaluate talent programs outcomes and makes adjustments to drive talent solution effectiveness
  • Other duties and projects as assigned

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of experience in human resources administration, talent management, organizational development, or L&D required
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, organizational development, or related field preferred
  • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, employee relations, diversity, and federal and state respective employment laws
  • Experience with succession planning/talent review processes and performance management
  • Knowledge of and ability to apply adult learning theories and instructional design models
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to influence and develop strong collaborative relationships with all levels of employees
  • Excellent written and verbal communication stills
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills
  • Self-directed and self-motivated mindset with a focus on service excellence
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
