Ford Classic Homes is in search of a qualified Interior Designer to join our team. We are a a semi-custom homebuilder who operates primarily in Williamson County.

The Designer will be responsible for selecting the exterior and interior selections for new homes. This includes all color and material selections for the construction of the entire house. Designer must comprehend and communicate basic design principles and show an ability to translate these principles to clients. The designer will be required to communicate with homeowners and construction superintendents effectively and record all documentation in a thorough, organized manner from the beginning of the home until completion.

Requirements

Residential Homes: Worked in the material and color selection for the construction of new homes.

Design Communication: Must demonstrate an ability to communicate a thorough and clear understanding of design elements including color coordination, cohesive layouts, patterns and materials

Design Efficiency: Must understand and practice efficient operation of selection schedules and appropriately manage the creation of a set of documents. Must have an aptitude for efficient and thorough detail

Construction Knowledge: Must command an understanding of construction materials and methods and consider these principles when communicating the selection process to clients

Additional Requirements: Must be physically active in order to carry sample boards and assist on project installations as needed. Must be willing to help other designers and be a collective member of the Design Team

Proficiency Requirements: Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint.
