Force 1 Solutions is seeking exceptional Security Guards to join our team in the heart of New Orleans. As a Security Guard with Force 1, you will be entrusted with responsibly protecting our clients' assets and ensuring the safety of our community across various posts throughout the city.

We are looking for individuals who possess the following qualities:

• Professionalism: Impeccable presentation, strong communication, and a commitment to ethical conduct at all times.
• Physical Fitness: Ability to maintain a high level of physical fitness and respond effectively in emergencies.
• Experience: Prior customer service, security or roles with public safety responsibilities preferred to demonstrate excellent conflict resolution, de-escalation and interpersonal skills. Initial and ongoing training will be provided to qualified candidates.
• Specialized Skills: First aid and CPR certification, proficiency in security equipment, and knowledge of relevant laws and regulations are highly valued.

As a Security Guard with Force 1, your responsibilities will include:

• Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas on foot. Monitor for any suspicious or criminal activity.
• Employ proactive surveillance techniques to deter theft, vandalism and acts of violence.
• Greet visitors and verify their authorization to be on premises. Escort unauthorized individuals off property.
• Operate security screening equipment like metal detectors to check for weapons.
• Monitor multiple surveillance camera feeds and security alarms for any activation alerts.
• Respond swiftly to security breaches, medical emergencies or other incidents. Detain trespassers or disturbances until law enforcement arrives.
• Provide a visible security presence to reassure customers and employees.
• Inspect perimeter fences, gates, doors and windows to ensure integrity of physical barriers. Address any repairs needed promptly.
• Maintain daily activity logs detailing patrol routes, key events, equipment inspections. Submit written reports for any incidents.
• Enforce all security policies and procedures. Escalate violations to supervisors when needed.
• Complete regular emergency response, security equipment and other related trainings to uphold highest standards.

Qualifications:

Professional demeaner and appearance.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Prior security experience preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong physical fitness and ability to stand for extended periods.
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Must be able to obtain a Louisiana Security Guard License if you do not currently have.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
