Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team part-time. As a Family Nurse Practitioner, you will provide primary care services to patients of all ages. You will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive and patient-centered care.
Hours of Work:
Tuesdays/Thursdays/Fridays - 9am-5pm (with some flexibility)
[Every 3rd Friday of the month the office is closed. Office is open the 3rd Saturday]
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and health assessments
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory and imaging studies
- Prescribe medications and other treatments
- Provide counseling and education to patients on preventive healthcare measures
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists to develop and implement treatment plans
- Monitor patients' progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans
Qualifications:
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Illinois
- Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner
- Proficiency in electronic medical record systems, such as Health Fusion; preferred but not required
- Strong diagnostic evaluation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
