Footwear Express is located in Downtown Salem, Oregon.

We are looking for a Retail Sales Associate to provide excellent customer service. Candidates with strong communication skills who can make customers feel welcome in our store will stand out. You will help identify client needs, present and answer questions about our products and services and recommend solutions.

Responsibilities

• Greet and direct customers
• Answer customers’ questions about specific products/services
• Size and fit customers to the appropriate footwear
• Take inventory
• Handle returns of merchandise
• Stay up-to-date with new products/services
• Receive and maintain inventory

Skills

• We prefer candidates who have previous work experience in customer service or retail sales
• Understanding of the retail sales process
• Familiarity with consumer behavior principles
• Knowledge of inventory stocking procedures
• Basic math skills
• Excellent communication skills
• You must have a GED or High School Diploma
• Must have weekend availability

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 24 per week
