We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Non-Sterile Compounding Technician to join our team. As a Non-Sterile Compounding Technician, you will be responsible for preparing customized medications for patients according to physician prescriptions. This role requires precision, accuracy, and adherence to strict quality standards to ensure the safety and efficacy of compounded medications.

Responsibilities:

• Compound non-sterile medications accurately and efficiently following established formulas and protocols.
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the compounding area and equipment to maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
• Perform quality control checks on compounded medications to verify potency, consistency, and purity.
• Maintain proper documentation of all compounding activities, including batch records and inventory logs.
• Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate medication preparation and dispensing.
• Assist in inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and stocking of compounding ingredients and supplies.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.

Skills

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or training in pharmacy technology or compounding preferred.
• Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to accurately measure and mix ingredients.
• Knowledge of compounding equipment and techniques, including but not limited to powder and liquid compounding.
• Familiarity with compounding regulations, including USP <795> guidelines, and adherence to good compounding practices.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and protecting patient privacy.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
