Responsibilities:
- Perform medical imaging procedures, including X-rays
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment
- Prepare patients for procedures and ensure their comfort and safety
- Position patients correctly to obtain accurate images
- Follow protocols and guidelines for image acquisition and patient care
- Evaluate images for quality and diagnostic value
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret and communicate results
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality
Skills:
- Proficient in medical imaging techniques, including X-rays
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
- Experience working in an emergency room (ER) setting is a plus
- Familiarity with mammography procedures is preferred
- Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations using imaging equipment
- Understanding of physiology and the effects of radiation on the human body
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols accurately
