Rapidly growing medical group seeking a part-time office assistant/receptionist primarily in our Bridgewater location, with flexibility to travel between neighboring offices if needed.
Some job responsibilities include: greeting and registering patients in a friendly manner upon arrival, scheduling new and follow up appointments, answering phones and taking complete messages, maintaining patient confidentiality, keeping front office and patient rooms stocked with adequate supplies, scanning, faxing, copying, filing and other clerical skills, collecting copayments and posting to the patients account, insurance authorizations and precertification, rooming patients, miscellaneous clinical tasks (will train if needed) as well as other duties.
Candidate must have Saturday availability (half day), be reliable, have the ability to multi-task, have flexibility in their schedule, be able to work both independently and as part of a team, and take direction. Prior medical office, billing, and clinical experience is not required but is a plus.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 32 per week
