Job Title: Forklift Operator

Department: Warehouse- Days

Location: FoodPRO (Frederick, MD)

Reports To: Warehouse Manager

Pay: Starting at $22/hour

Hours: First Shift - Monday-Friday 6:00AM~2:30PM

Summary:

The forklift operator is responsible for managing product movement and organization in the warehouse. The forklift operator's duties include sorting and stocking shelves throughout the warehouse; rotating product; assisting fellow associates as needed throughout the warehouse; and maintaining a clean work area throughout the day.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

* Stock slots and shelves

* Control and maintain inventory and prevent damages

* Ensure the product is rotated correctly and stocked in the correct slot

* Help receiver's unload and breakdown product

* Assist in maintaining the facility to provide a clean, safe work environment

* Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Essential Qualifications:

* Forklift experience

* Ability to work with minimal supervision

* Strong and safe work ethic

* Ability to understand and follow directions

* Strong work skills and detail for task performing

* Applicable candidates must pass pre-employment drug screening

* Prior experience in a warehouse

Desired Qualifications:

* Electric Pallet Jack or Rider experience

* Forklift Certified (or ability to become certified)

* Pallet Jack Certified (or ability to become certified)

Education:

* High school degree or GED

Physical Qualifications:

* Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds

* Must be able to squat, bend, and twist

* Must be able to keep up with a fast-paced environment

Environment Details:

* Freezer, cooler, and dry warehouse environment temperatures varying from 0-35 degrees

Hours:

* Mid Shift: Mon-Fri Approximately 6:00AM~2:30PM (or until complete for the day)
