Food Grade Trailer Pre-loader/Yard Jockey

Foodliner is looking for a motivated individual to assist in pre-loading dry bulk trailers and spotting of dry van trailers at our customer in Albany, NY. Foodliner, Inc. is one of the largest bulk food carriers in the country and a Transport Topic Top 100 carrier.

Position:

• Tuesday–Saturday from 3:00 PM – 11:00 AM. Saturday 7:00 AM--3:00 PM
• Off on Sunday–Monday

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Loading pneumatic bulk trailers and spotting dry van trailers in warehouse doors
• Complete a daily yard check and keep an inventory of trailer pool
• Daily communication with mill personnel
• Follow SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) and company guidelines
• Maintain housekeeping and organization of the yard
• Support Terminal Manager in any operations as needed

Basic Qualifications:

• Class A CDL preferred but not required, and some tractor trailer or yard jockey experience necessary. (Good MVR and safe driving record required—if applicable)
• Pass background check, non-DOT physical, and drug screen
• Flexible schedule and ability to work some weekends
