Foodland IGA is seeking a friendly and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Front End Associate and PIC. As a Front End Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers. Provides superior customer service. The PIC also assists the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in supervising all store personnel in accordance with company policies and standards. Responsible for the overall operations of the store in the Managers absence. Appropriately handling emergencies and customer complaints. Performs cashier duties and other duties as required

Responsibilities:

- Greet customers and provide assistance with their inquiries or concerns

- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently

- Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions

- Maintain a clean and organized front end area

- Assist with inventory management and restocking of merchandise

- Provide product information and assist customers with product selection

- Conduct product demonstrations and explain features to customers

- Assist with wireless sales and technical support as needed

- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when answering customer calls

Skills:

- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally

- Knowledge of basic math for cash handling and transactions

- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
