Foodland, Hawaii’s largest locally owned grocery retailer is looking for Personal Shoppers to join our Guest Services team.

This is an hourly position, and we offer a comprehensive benefits package (specifics vary based on position and classification).

We are looking for individuals who have strong customer service focused skills, are excellent communicators, highly motivated, detail oriented, positive, outgoing, and organized. Personal Shoppers provides superior customer service to all customers who visit Foodland and acts as a liaison between the store, shopping center and the surrounding community.

Duties and Responsibilities includes but not limited to the following:

• Have a full understanding of the Foodland-To-You service and execute outreach to bring in customers
• Responsible for picking customers’ orders with 100% accuracy and select products that are the best quality (produce, meat, seafood, canned goods etc.)
• Picking the order using a zebra device
• Work with other in-store departments to fulfill orders
• Calling customers regarding order for substitutes or out of stocks with excellent customer service
• Review, validate, ringing and true-up (charge customer online), bagging and closing out orders
• Complete any necessary add-on’s or refunds to customers order on the POS and on the webform
• Delivers orders that are accurate and on time to customers by curbside pickup or home delivery while providing excellent customer service
• Complete instore duties as assigned and/or directed by store management as needed during any downtime

Education:

• High school education or equivalent, or combination of education / experience preferred

Experience/Skills:

• prior retail customer service experience preferred
• prior cash handling experience preferred
• prior delivery driving experience preferred
• familiarity operating an iPhone

Other requirements:

• must be 21 years of age or older
• must be able to drive and have a valid driver’s license with a clean abstract
• must be able to pass qualifications for Hui
• must pass math test and cashier training after hire
• must be able to deliver orders to customer by curbside pick up
• must be able to complete grocery deliveries
• must be able to lift, maneuver, and/or carry 25 – 50 lbs., at, above and below waist level
• must be able to successfully operate company systems and machines used for ordering, navigation, and transportation
• must be able to work weekends, evenings and holidays (open availability required for full-time positions)
• must have valid TB clearance
• must comply with all company policies and requirements
