EXPEDITOR – HIRING IMMEDIATELY – ENTRY LEVEL – SOME EXPERIENCE PREFERRED

Our Expeditor will be trained to:

• Deliver parts from Press Brake to assembly areas
• Locate “make” parts
• Maintain inventory accuracy by entering transactions (change part locations/remove items from stock)
• Re-order stock parts as needed
• Enter “make” parts into inventory
• Maintain close professional relations, respect and accountability with manufacturing at all times
• Assist other areas as needed, such as deburring parts, unloading laser, lifting inside/outside bodies in final assembly
• Perform function safely in accordance with FWE safety policy
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:

• HS diploma or GED preferred.
• Must have a sense of urgency about performing tasks and ability to work at a fast pace
• Good organizational, people and communication skills, able to work cooperatively with employees.
• Strong attention to detail
• Basic computer skills including proficiency with I-Pad, scanner, etc.

Physical Demands of this job:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, use hands to finger, handle or touch. The employee is frequently required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to reach above shoulders, climb or balance, talk or hear.
• The employee must regularly lift and /or move 10 pounds-25 pounds.
• The job requires almost constant walking, and standing, and frequent pushing, pulling, and lifting of 10-25 lbs. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move more weight using a hand truck, pallet jack, cart, or dolly.
