Food Management Search is Hiring a Field Service Technician Near Washington, DC
The ideal candidate for this position will be able to keep an open communication channel with customers, internal technical teams, and management to enable successful customer outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work cross functionally within and outside the company to ensure successful machine operation and customer service
- Create and maintain relationships with customers to better understand and achieve their productivity goals
- Fully train operators and Maintenance personnel on how to operate and maintain the equipment
- Make visits to our customers both domestically and internationally to identify and resolve technical issues while creating positive customer experiences and retention
- Manage and report on all activities including but not limited to, detailed work orders, follow-up reports, travel expenses and general customer/prospect feedback
Qualifications:
- Previous technical services with mechanical and electrical experience
- PLC troubleshooting/programming experience preferred
- Articulate and well accustomed to a client-facing role
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 65% of the year
