Leading engineered solutions company in the automation, drive, and electrical control domain, is seeking a dynamic and experienced AUTOMATION & CONTROLS ENGINEER to join their team. This role will play a crucial part in the design, implementation, testing, and commissioning of automation systems.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
·Participate in the design, testing, commissioning, and evaluation of automation systems.
·Interact with internal staff & shop floor personnel as needed to perform job responsibilities effectively.
·Work closely with customers to finalize system design, controls packages, and operator interfaces.
·Complete Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT).
·Generate Bill of Materials (BOM) and PLC hardware design and drawings.
·PLC and HMI programming experience is essential.
·Provide expert technical advice on PLCs and HMIs to customers.
·Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed, about 30% travel
DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
·Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE), Electrical Engineering Technology (BSEET), or similar.
·Minimum of 5 years of Automation & Controls Engineering experience.
·Proficient in PLC and HMI programming.
·Strong attention to detail in all aspects of work.
·Ability to work and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
