Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. As a Janitor, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our facilities. This is a vital role in ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for our employees and visitors.

Duties:
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
- Dust and wipe down surfaces
- Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when restocking is needed
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs or fixing minor plumbing issues
- Follow proper safety procedures when handling cleaning chemicals and operating equipment
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding cleanliness standards

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in commercial or industrial cleaning preferred
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if necessary
- Excellent time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently

Skills:
- Maintain cleanliness: Ensure that all areas are kept clean and presentable at all times.
- Buffing: Knowledge of buffing techniques to maintain the shine of floors.
- Clean: Perform general cleaning duties such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, etc.
- Commercial cleaning: Experience in cleaning commercial buildings or facilities.
- Industrial cleaning: Familiarity with cleaning processes in industrial settings.
- Facilities maintenance: Basic knowledge of maintenance tasks related to facilities upkeep.
- Custodial: Ability to perform custodial duties including cleaning restrooms, emptying trash, etc.
- Floor care: Knowledge of floor care techniques including mopping, waxing, buffing, etc.
- Porter: Skills in maintaining the cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, entrances, etc.
