Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Deli Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and food preparation in a fast-paced environment.

Duties:
- Prepare and serve a variety of deli products such as sandwiches, salads, and hot foods
- Ensure food safety standards are met at all times
- Assist customers in selecting deli items and provide recommendations
- Operate kitchen equipment and maintain cleanliness in the deli area
- Handle cash transactions using the POS system and maintain accurate records
- Upsell products to increase sales and meet targets
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a deli, kitchen, or restaurant setting is preferred
- Proficiency in using cash registers and handling cash transactions
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety regulations
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with customers effectively
- Familiarity with retail math for pricing and inventory management
- Ability to work in a team environment and multitask effectively
- Sales experience is a plus
