THE POSITION:

The Production Chef is responsible for overseeing weekly meal production and is responsible for recipe accuracy and quality.

POSITION SUCCESS FACTORS:

1. Meals are created in a clean, safe and efficient manner; according to pre-determined schedules.

2. Track inventory effectively

3. Be a key player in the weekly processes from beginning to end

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

· Proper techniques are used, and recipes followed

· Comply with operating procedures, USDA and FDA standards.

· Responsible for the proper and timely execution of all recipes

· Support in leading pre-production and plating processes

· Properly follow all essential record keeping required in the facility

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Follow all operational proper procedures.

· Execution of recipes at a professional level

· Assist team in all areas (pre-production, plating).

· Work close with prep cooks to execute recipes at the best level possible.

· Hand over fully completed recipes to plating department following operating procedures.

· Keeping food waste to a minimum by soup/stock creation and freezing components for later use.

· Maintaining supply inventory.

Salary: $20.00 and up per hour based on experience
