Food Country USA is Hiring a Produce Manager Near Mountain, TN

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Produce Manager to oversee the daily operations of our produce department. The ideal candidate will have a passion for fresh produce, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to lead a team effectively.

Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the produce department including ordering, stocking, and merchandising
- Ensure high-quality standards for all produce items
- Train, develop, and supervise department staff
- Conduct interviews and participate in the hiring process
- Monitor inventory levels and implement effective inventory control measures
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely deliveries and negotiate pricing
- Implement and enforce safety and sanitation procedures
- Oversee shift management and scheduling

Requirements:
- Proven experience in a produce management role
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
- Excellent organizational abilities with attention to detail
- Proficiency in cash handling procedures
- Ability to conduct interviews and provide training development
- Experience in administrative tasks related to inventory management
- Knowledge of clerk duties within a retail environment
- Shift management experience is a plus
