Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their deli orders
- Prepare and serve a variety of deli items, such as sandwiches, salads, and hot food items
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to accurately process customer transactions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli area, including food preparation surfaces and equipment
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the quality and freshness of deli products
- Assist with inventory management and restocking of deli items
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operation of the deli department

Requirements:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for cash handling and portioning food items
- Excellent customer service skills to provide a positive experience for customers
- Ability to handle food safely and follow proper sanitation procedures
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $7.25 - $8.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
