Job Summary

The primary responsibilities of this position are to perform varied duties to repair and maintain the facility and equipment including troubleshooting and installations. Performs general maintenance projects as assigned, including installations and repairs involving plumbing and electrical equipment, carpentry work, painting, equipment repair, and outside landscaping maintenance. Ensure that property is clean, maintained, and safe for employees and visitors at all times including offices, common areas, warehouse, grounds, and exteriors.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform general facility maintenance like painting, electrical, carpentry, repairs and plumbing.
• Conduct regular inspections of the building to identify and address maintenance issues.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
• Repair or replace equipment, fixtures, and appliances as needed.
• Whenever possible, execute work and repairs “in‐house” and find other ways to reduce the company’s expense.
• Assist Maintenance Supervisor to ensure all necessary maintenance materials are on site as needed, organized, and Plan ahead.
• Follow all code, legal, OSHA, and compliance.
• Perform basic landscaping and grounds maintenance tasks.
• Maintain records of all maintenance activities and repairs.
• Collaborate with other team members and contractors when necessary.
• Assist with janitorial duties as required.

Qualifications and Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ten years of proven experience in building maintenance or related field.
• Strong knowledge of the following trades: electrical, refrigeration, carpentry, painting, and plumbing
• Experience with maintenance of heavy equipment, electrical doors and gates
• Excellent communication skills.
• Understand basic math calculations needed for taking measurements on repair duties.
• Ability to work safely with hand and power tools.
• Excellent problem solving skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and accuracy in record keeping.
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Ability to operate a scissor lift for overhead cleaning, repairs and maintenance.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Job Type: Full-time
