Job Overview:
We are looking for a in-house attorney who will be responsible for providing legal advice and guidance on various corporate and real estate matters, such as contracts, mergers and acquisitions, compliance, governance, intellectual property, litigation, and risk management. The ideal candidate will have real estate and business transaction experience, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a high degree of professionalism and integrity.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and analysis on various corporate and real estate matters
- Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and policies
- Provide legal advice and guidance
- Negotiate contracts and settlements on behalf of the company
- Represent the company in litigation and other legal proceedings
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and corporate policies
- Assist in corporate transactions, such as mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships
- Manage relationships with external legal counsel as necessary
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- A license to practice law in the state of Texas
- At least 2-4 years of experience
- Strong knowledge of corporate and real estate law, contracts, and business transactions
- Proficient in legal research tools such as Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to draft and review legal documents
- Ability to conduct thorough legal analysis and provide sound advice
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all work performed
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
We offer competitive compensation based on experience.
Note: All positions must be paid including internship positions.

Pay: $125,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
