Ability to strategize and implement effective business plans will be critical to our company’s continued success and growth.Position Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:Strategic PlanningDevelop and implement comprehensive business strategies to achieve short-term and long-term objectives.Work with sales/business development to conduct market analysis and identify new opportunities for business expansion.Identify insourcing opportunities throughout the organization.Work with engineering and operations to identify new and improved tooling capabilities.Formulate action plans to maintain a competitive edge in the tooling and fastener industries.Participates in the development of capital expenditure requests.Technical ExpertisePossess a deep understanding of tooling and fastener manufacturing processes and technologies.Stay up-to-date with industry trends, advancements, and best practices.Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure product quality and innovation.Operations ManagementResponsible for identifying and transferring existing equipment from other locations.Identify and manage existing equipment upgrades.Overall responsibility for optimization of the facility layout.Oversee all daily operations to ensure smooth workflow and efficient resource utilization.Optimize production processes to enhance productivity and minimize downtime.Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to make data-driven decisions.Participates in the development of capital expenditure requests.Guides operations towards continuous improvement (safe working environment, lean quality-reduction of scrap and customer issues, on-time deliveries, etc.Dispenses advice, guidance, direction and authorization to carry out major plans and procedures, consistent with established policies and approvals.Financial PerformanceDevelop budgets and financial forecasts in alignment with organizational goals.Implement cost-control measures to maximize profitability without compromising quality.Review financial reports and take corrective actions when necessary.Profit and loss responsibility.Team LeadershipRecruit, train, and develop a skilled team of professionals in various departments.Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages innovation and creativity.Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.Customer FocusMaintain strong relationships with key customers and clients.Address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and effectively.Identify customer needs and ensure the company delivers high-quality products and services.Compliance and SafetyEnsure the company complies with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.Promote a culture of safety and adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.Other duties as assigned by the manager.Qualification Requirements:Required:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).Proven experience (at least 5-7 years) in a senior management role within the tooling or fastener industry.Strong technical background and understanding of tooling and fastener manufacturing processes.Demonstrated ability to develop and execute effective business strategies.Exceptional leadership and team-building skills with a focus on employee development.Solid financial acumen and experience in budgeting and financial analysis.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Ability to make data-driven decisions and solve complex problems effectively.Strong commitment to quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.Proficient Office suite and Google Workspace.Travel Requirements: Minimal North America based travel.Acument offers exciting and challenging opportunities.
