Fontaine Modification is Hiring an Entry Level Truck Modification Tech Near Charlotte, NC

Job Title: Entry Level Truck Modification Technician – Fontaine Modification - Charlotte, NC
Location: Charlotte, NC
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday; 5:00 AM – 1:30PM w/ possible OT opportunity!
Rate of Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour D.O.E.
*Required: Must be able to clear pre-employment background, drug test, and physical; Must possess a valid and active Driver's License*

Responsibilities of an Entry Level Truck Modification Technician:
The following statements describe the principal functions of this job and its scope of responsibility but should not be considered an all-inclusive listing of work requirements.

Remove complete interiors of truck cabs.
Install modified floor plates so truck cab will have both left-hand and right-hand driving capabilities (also known as “dual drive” capabilities ---think recycling trucks and street sweepers).
Installing modified dashboards, interior trim, wiring harnesses, etc., so truck will have dual drive capabilities.
Installing dual steering assemblies and final switch layout in truck cab.
Pre-delivery inspections.
Mostly working with kits and bolt-on modifications
Lots of bending, stooping and on feet most of day
Lifting and installing components up to 45 pounds

What We Need from You (Our Requirements): Entry Level Truck Modification Technician:

Automobile or truck mechanic skills (shade-tree mechanic experience OK).
Ability to work 40 hour weeks plus overtime.
Tools including impact wrench and drill.
Must be able to pass pre-employment background, drug test, and physical.
