Job Summary:
We are seeking enthusiastic and responsible individuals to join our team as Camp Counselors. As a Camp Counselor, you will play a vital role in creating a fun and safe environment for children to learn and grow. This is a paid position, providing an opportunity to gain valuable experience in education and childcare.

Duties:
- Educate and engage campers in various activities, including sports, arts and crafts, games, and nature exploration
- Provide guidance and supervision to campers throughout the day
- Plan and lead age-appropriate activities that promote learning and personal development
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all campers at all times
- Assist with daily tasks such as mealtime supervision, restroom breaks, and transitions between activities
- Collaborate with other camp staff to create a positive and inclusive camp experience for all participants

Skills:
- Experience in sports coaching, early childhood education, babysitting, special education, or related fields is highly desirable
- Ability to work effectively with children of different ages and backgrounds
- Strong communication skills to interact with campers, parents, and fellow staff members
- Knowledge of first aid procedures and ability to respond to minor injuries or illnesses
- Familiarity with daycare or childcare settings and understanding of childhood development principles

We offer competitive pay rates for this position. This is a temporary role during the camp season. (With potential to roll into the school year for the right person.)
