Job Title: Heavy Highway Project Manager - Contractor (Pennsylvania)

Job Overview:

Folino Construction is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Heavy Highway Project Manager to join our dynamic team of construction professionals. As a key player in our organization, you will lead and manage heavy highway projects for our contractor company, with a focus on projects within the state of Pennsylvania. The successful candidate will bring a wealth of expertise in project management, a deep understanding of PennDOT regulations, and a proven track record of delivering successful heavy highway projects. Additionally, experience working with local municipalities, the Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority (PWSA), and other government agencies is highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

* Project Leadership:

* Oversee the planning, execution, and successful completion of heavy highway projects.

* Manage all aspects of project delivery, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards.

* PennDOT Compliance:

* Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of PennDOT regulations, specifications, and procedures.

* Ensure that all projects comply with PennDOT requirements and maintain open communication with PennDOT representatives.

* Municipal and Government Collaboration:

* Utilize experience in working with local municipalities, PWSA, and other government agencies to facilitate project approvals and compliance.

* Foster positive relationships with government stakeholders to ensure smooth collaboration.

* Bid and Proposal Management:

* Contribute to the bid process, providing accurate and competitive proposals to secure new projects.

* Collaborate with estimating teams to ensure bid accuracy and competitiveness.

* Resource and Budget Management:

* Efficiently manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials.

* Monitor project budgets, providing accurate forecasting and financial oversight.

* Stakeholder Collaboration:

* Build and maintain positive relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, clients, and government agency representatives.

* Foster effective communication and collaboration to ensure project success.

* Quality Assurance and Safety:

* Uphold the highest standards of quality and safety throughout all project phases.

* Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

* Proven experience as a Heavy Highway Project Manager with a focus on contractor roles in Pennsylvania.

* In-depth knowledge of PennDOT regulations, specifications, and procedures.

* Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.

* Experience working with local municipalities, PWSA, and other government agencies.

* Proficiency in project management software and tools.
