Role and Responsibilities

Dynamic and detail-oriented Estimating Coordinator to join our team. The Estimating Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the estimation team and work alongside the Estimating Manager, Lead and other Estimator Admins. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to analyze data effectively. This role requires proficiency in reviewing construction plans and civil drawings, manage and distribute incoming quote requests, identify potential opportunities/contretemps, and prioritize tasks accordingly.

• Utilize estimation software tool to input data and generate comprehensive cost estimates.
• Maintain meticulous records of all estimates, revisions, and communications with stakeholders and serve as a technical liaison between estimators, sales, and production teams.
• Review and analyze incoming bids, conducting data analysis to identify trends and patterns.
• Possesses the ability and knowledge to provide responses to inquiries received, regarding plans, pricing, lead times, etc.
• Anticipate project needs and proactively prioritize tasks to ensure timely completion of estimates.
• If needed, serve as an agent of the organization to secure pricing from select vendors to ensure accurate quoted prices for resell components.
• Will work with FPC in-house engineering and operations to determine production feasibility on special products / alternate material.
• Serve as an administrator to the Quote Management ERP Software manager for the given state(s) assigned, keeping it current and up to date each day, ensuring that project prioritization is followed.
• Complete pricing adjustments and present quotes upon request.
• Proficiency in multitasking with the capacity to maintain focus across multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Experience and Skills:

Qualifications and Education Requirements

High School Diploma

Have at least 2 years of underground precast knowledge in the Heavy Utility/Utility sector

Have at least 2 years of estimating experience in the Heavy Utility/Utility sector

Familiar with civil plans

Preferred Skills

Experience with an ERP/Inventory software. Working knowledge of Titan is a plus

Proficiency with MS Office programs with excellent Excel skills

Time Management

Must be able to work independently.
