Foley Management Group LLC is Hiring a Project Coordinator/Estimator Near Palm, FL

Description:

Foley Management Group, LLC is an award winning, national construction management firm specializing in the design, development and construction of Self- Storage Facilities. With well over 100 facilities, and just under 8 million square feet of this product type completed to date, FMG is a leader in the self-storage industry.

We are currently seeking an experienced construction professional to join our team. This profession will be working from our Palm City Florida home office and will report directly to the companies managing partner. Generally, this skilled construction professional will be responsible for assisting in the entire bid process, material procurement, drafting and subcontractor contract issuance.

Specific duties and responsibilities:

Assisting in the buyout of each trade for each project
Assisting in creating the detailed scope of work for each trade
Coordinate, assemble, and distribute bid packages
Assist in managing RFI’s and clarifications to ensure adequate subcontractor understanding.
Receive and validate subcontractor bids
Be a resource for field personnel by providing cost information and developing cost estimates for changes in the work during different construction phases
Work with field personnel to coordinate site visits or subcontractor requests.

Collaborate with PM to execute buy-out strategy and on Change Orders

Qualifications:

Experience in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or other related disciplines strongly preferred.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in commercial general contraction.
Ability to read and interpret Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical and Civil Drawings
Ability to read and interpret Geotechnical, Environmental, and other associated consultant reports necessary to projects.

Ability to interpret bid documents, plans, and all other related project/construction documents.

Experience with performing takeoffs and ability to learn industry specific software programs
Skilled at handling multiple tasks and projects simultaneously with a reputation for being accurate, responsive, and well organized.
Strong self-starter with excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills within cross functional teams.
Ability to set and meet deadlines
Strong decision making and problem-solving skills.
Ability to form and maintain relationships with current and new subcontractors, owners, brokers and clients.

Knowledge in AutoCAD a plus.

Compensation commensurate with education and experience working with professionals.
