Work Location: N08 - 293 Greystone Blvd Columbia,SC


SCOPE OF THE PROJECT:
AN EXPERIENCED PROJECT COORDINATOR NEEDED WITH BOTH PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND ADMINISTRATIVE TASKS TO SUPPORT NEWLY CREATED PMO OFFICE

DAILY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
• WORKS UNDER GENERAL SUPERVISION IN THE PROJECT MANAGEMENT OFFICE (PMO) OF ADMINISTRATION
• UNDER GENERAL SUPERVISION OF PMO DIRECTOR, COORDINATES ALL TASKS (AS PROJECT COORDINATOR) OF DIFFERENT SIZED PROJECTS WITH DIFFERENT COMPLEXITIES USING APPROPIATE PM METHODOLOGY (AGILE / PREDECTIVE / HYBRID ETC.)
• CREATE PRESENTATONS AND PROVIDE STATUS OF WORK PROGRESS
• PROVIDE ADMINISTRATIVE AND LOGISTICAL SUPPORT FOR ALL PMO PROJECTS, MANAGE PROJECT BUDGETS, SHOPPING CARTS, P-CARDS AND PURCHASE ORDERS. MAINTAIN DEPARTMENTAL POLICIES AND PROCEDURES. COODINATE PROJECT MEETINGS AND MANAGE MEETING MINUTES
• SUPPORT AND PERFORM OTHER DEPARTMENTAL ACTIVITIES AT SUPERVISOR’S REQUEST OR AS NEEDED.

REQUIRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE):
• ABILITY TO PROVIDE ADMINISTRATIVE AND LOGISTICAL SUPPORT FOR ALL PMO PROJECTS, MANAGE PROJECT BUDGETS, SHOPPING CARTS, P-CARDS AND PURCHASE ORDERS. MAINTAIN DEPARTMENTAL POLICIES AND PROCEDURES. COODINATE PROJECT MEETINGS AND MANAGE MEETING MINUTES
• EXPERIENCE IN PROJECT MANAGEMENT DISCIPLINE
• EXPERIENCE IN ANALYZING AND WRITING BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS
• EFFICIENT IN MICROSOFT SUITES
• EXPERIENCE WITH MICROSOFT PROJECT MANAGEMENT TOOLS LIKE MS PROJECT, VISIO, SHAREPOINT, TEAMS ETC.
• GOOD ANALYTICAL, PROBLEM SOLVING AND ORGANIZATIONAL SKILL.
• ABILITY TO WORK WITH IT ENGINEERS / TECHNICIANS RELATED TO IT PROJECTS
• ABILITY TO WORK WITH DIFFERENT PROGRAM AREAS RELATED TO NON-IT PROJECTS
• PERFORMS OTHER RELATED DUTIES AT CO-WORKER AND SUPERVISOR’S REQUEST.

• GOOD COMMUNICATION SKILL
• ABILITY TO MAINTAIN GOOD PROFESSIONAL RELATIONS WITH DIFFERENT TYPES OF STAKEHOLDERS.
• CREATE NECESSARY DOCUMENTATION TO SUPPORT PROJECT LIFE CYCLE (INCEPTION THROUGH PRODUCTION).
• STRONG PERSONAL, ETHICAL, AND MORAL STANDARDS
• GOOD INTERPERSONAL SKILLS
• PROACTIVE AND SELF-MOTIVATED
• SELF-STARTER WITH THE ABILITY TO PRIORITIZE WORKLOAD AND MANAGE TIME.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
BACHELOR’S DEGREE
IN PROJECT MANAGEMENT / MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEMS /TECHNOLOGY MANAGEMENT / BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION or related field or equivalent work experience.
